I am also available for content writing, editing, and strategy work, and communications strategy consulting on a freelance basis.

Among my previous clients is Ireland’s second largest bank, Bank of Ireland.

I previously contributed a monthly roundup of renewable energy and clean technology news for an eco:nomics page in the Irish Times Innovation business magazine.

This website is mainly an online portfolio for my work, but also features the occasional blog post.

With experience of writing on a diverse range of subjects – including foreign news, business news, politics and environmental issues – my writing has also been published in the UK’s Independent newspaper.

My previous work includes mentoring trainee journalists in investigative techniques, as a consulting editor for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, and working as an investigative producer for BBC Arabic in London.

In the past, I have also contributed to magazines such as Business & Finance, Irish Director and Village in Ireland; The Big Issue, Diplo Magazine and The Spectator in the UK, as well as a number of websites such as Media Lens and Media Channel.

The legal bit: All opinions expressed on this site are my own and in no way reflect views or opinions of any of the publications for which I write.
